Where is the farthest you have ever been away from home? Did you get homesick?

The furthest I've been from home is St. Petersburg, Russia. It is 4413 miles (7102 km) from where I lived at the time. I spent a week there while I was a Rotary Exchange student in Finland (also quite far from home!)
Being a foreign exchange student was one of the best experiences of my life and one I hope my children get have someday if they're interested.
It's dedication time. What song are you sending out, and who is it dedicated to?
To me - and my bottom. And all other ladies who need a bit of a pick me up with regards to body image.

What was the best football highlight of the past week?
I suppose just that Penn State won, albeit very sloppily. I do not have high expectations for them next week against Michigan. It's like we have a mental block with that team.

What do you think about Ryan Seacrest being chosen to host tonight's Primetime Emmy Awards?
Ehhh, nothing. He's that guy from American Idol, no? I am one of the few people I know who cannot stand that show (or others similar to it.)
